The Mandalorian Season 3 Works with Disney

The Mandalorian Season 3 Already in the Works at Disney+

It seems as though Disney and Lucasfilm are very interested in making The Mandalorian Season 3 a reality—even if we’re nonetheless months faraway from the release of Season 2 of the Disney Star Wars collection. The first-ever live-motion Star Wars TV display released on Disney ultimate fall to large fan reaction and wide essential acclaim, as creator/showrunner Jon Favreau introduced the tale of a bounty hunter caring for a toddler Yoda (excuse me, “The Child”) whilst running from horrific guys and stormtroopers.

That eight-episode first season didn’t necessarily cover a ton of story floor, so there’s certainly an awful lot greater to explore. Favreau and Co. Wrapped The Mandalorian Season 2 rapidly before the COVID-19 shutdown and are continuing to work on put up-production remotely. That new season remains predicted to debut q4, but Favreau is pulling a classic Favreau and multitasking like no other.

Variety reports that Favreau has been writing The Mandalorian Season three “for a while” and that the art branch has been creating concepts for the new season for “the past few weeks” under the leadership of Lucasfilm vp and government innovative director Doug Chiang. They’ve simplest simply started pre-production so it’s early days, but it makes feel if Lucasfilm and Disney need to maintain The Mandalorian on course to debut a new season each 12 months. Favreau had already written an awful lot of Season 2 by the point Season 1 debuted and become in production shortly after. If you don’t agree with me, check out the video underneath. And stay tuned for more Mandalorian goodness coming to Disney q4.

For more on the show, watch full breakdown of that season one finale.
