Joel David Moore, who played Norm Spellman, recently confirmed his return to New Zealand for Avatar 3 filming. In a social media post, Moore shared nostalgic moments and teased new developments. Giovanni Ribisi and Dileep Rao are also back, reprising their roles as Parker Selfridge and Dr. Max Patel, respectively.

Parker Selfridge’s Role in Avatar 3
In the original Avatar, Parker Selfridge was a secondary antagonist. His greed drove the RDA’s mission to mine unobtanium on Pandora. While he had a brief cameo in Avatar: The Way of Water, producer Jon Landau hinted at a bigger role for Selfridge in Avatar 3. Will he focus on the new valuable substance, Amrita, or face a demotion after past failures?
